KYTES is an award‑winning independent band from Munich. The trio made up of Michael Spieler, Kerim Öke and Timothy Lush has gradually developed over the years since its formation in 2015 to become one of the most exciting bands in Europe.
The three musicians, friends since kindergarten, have found their own groove through their music and a unique blend of freedom and familiarity. KYTES has been releasing its songs through its own label, Frisbee Records, since 2018, and they have now been streamed more than 150 million times.
KYTES defines itself as “indie rave”, a genre created by the band itself, combining its former love “Indie” and its new love “Rave”.
This blend also makes the band's concerts a very special experience, between catchy choruses, rave electronic sets and intimate acoustic moments.
In their new single “Cope”, KYTES wonders how they handle the daily flow of bad news, tackling self‑doubt and the doom‑scrolling spiral. The fast, hypnotic, almost reggaeton rhythm drives the song forward; the guitars and synths blend together, and singer Spieler surprises with an unexpected, memorable and unique voice.
The band's new album, “Indie Rave”, will be released on July 31 2026. The band will then embark on its biggest tour to date.
