Inspired by battle culture and the spirit of sharing inherent to urban dance events, this format puts authenticity, energy, and connection with the audience at its core.
On the program of this event you will find:
– Battle Only Guest: 16 dancers recognized from the Dancehall community face off one-on-one until a winner emerges.
Battle 2 vs 2: emerging and recognized dancers face off in teams of two.
Battle Beginner 1 vs 1: allows dancers who are starting freestyle to express themselves and discover the circle.
Solo choreography competition: choreography of up to 1min30 on music of choice.
Duet choreography competition: choreography of 2min per pair while staying connected.
