Juliette and Romeo? If Ben Duke reverses the names of humanity's most iconic couple, it's because his dance‑theatre doesn't intend to narrate a story you already know. His very British humor brings him into the life of an ordinary couple going through a midlife crisis. Because here, Juliette and Romeo have survived. Their world is ours, their story resembles us, their passion was lost along the way. But their spiritual father, still called Shakespeare, they measure themselves daily against his words and all the ballets created in his name. Yet in the present, their reality is couples therapy. It's sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking, and dance is there to elevate everything.
