Between reinvented standards and original compositions, Jules Charbonnier cultivates a modern jazz where melody reigns. At only 22, he was awarded several international jazz competitions, such as the International Piano Jazz Competition in Lausanne (1st Prize) or Keep An Eye - Amsterdam (Best Soloist Award). Drawing from the tradition of jazz, he forged his identity with the inspirations of pianists such as Art Tatum, Hank Jones and Erroll Garner, while allowing various influences to appear, between pop and Brazilian music.

The 38Riv Jazz Club is an intimate room in the heart of the Marais (38 rue de Rivoli, Paris 4e), dedicated to jazz and improvised music.
