Joan Minor, American living in Paris, is accompanied by 3 French musicians - Christian Duperray on electric bass and double bass, Étienne Brachet on drums and Michael Dravigny on keyboards - and for more than 10 years, this jazz/soul/blues quartet has been playing regularly in France, as well as in the Etats Unis and in Afrique.
The Joan Minor Quartet combines Joan's American style with the talent of a group of French musicians. Thanks to a repertoire with multiple facets, they have sparked enthusiasm from their audience in Europe as well as in Afrique, but also in New York!
Based in Paris, Joan is the authenticity of American jazz mixed with the French Touch of her 3 French musicians, a pure sound, a #nofilter music and a warm communion between an artist and her audience. She regularly performs in her second home - Las Vegas, and tours regularly for the Département d’État américain in Afrique.
Joan performs the full range of jazz, soul and blues, in her energetic and inimitable emotional style: a unique raw and unfiltered sound.
