They carry in them stories, emotions, landscapes and sometimes even questions that continue to resonate long after the last note. I like songs that leave room for risk. Those that allow the musicians to meet in the moment, listen to each other, answer each other and invent together a path that did not exist a few minutes before. »
Between revisited standards, unknown treasures and improvisations, Jazz Explorations is an invitation to listen, discover and surprise. Throughout this residence, the standards we think we know sometimes take unexpected directions. Forgotten songs find a voice. Arrangements are changing, improvisations are opening up new perspectives and each concert becomes a singular adventure, shaped by the present moment. Because a song is never exactly the same when you sing it again. And this may be where the magic of jazz lies.
Created in 2012, the #JazzDemain niche has given rise to a series of bimonthly residences that allow young artists to experience the scene, roam a repertoire, and present it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limit. #Be Curious!
