The 38Riv joins the jazz department of the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP) for a new series of weekly jam sessions every Thursday evening.
Thought as a true laboratory of musical practice, these evenings offer students the opportunity to perform regularly in the conditions of a professional scene, while promoting meetings with the community of musicians of the Parisian scene.
Each appointment begins with a short concert proposed by the students of the jazz department, before leaving room for an open jam session. This collaboration is also an opportunity to experience an original format, at the crossroads of concert, transmission and collective practice, where the rules of jam are built in a spirit of sharing, listening and benevolence.

Located in the heart of the Marais, 38Riv is a jazz club and intimate bar. It is the place of all musical encounters: from jazz to Latin jazz through funk and baroque. Its 12th century vaulted cellar offers a warm and authentic acoustic.
