In a small village in the Southwest of France, a child named Ix is born, with an uncertain and shifting identity. Like a pop music album, this performance in 17 fragments with radically different writing forms traces the existence of this character. From birth to adulthood, the different layers of violence—social, familial, historical— that mark the existence of a queer child are explored, and ultimately constitute them.
Through fiction, but also through the off‑beat, the comic, the show, the monstrous and the art of drag, Marcos Caramés‑Blanco and Sacha Starck create a fragmentary, sparkling whole, in search of a utopian thrust, breaking free from the schematic representations imposed on beings who do not fit the social norm.
