In a living room transformed into a film studio, a family of influencers staged their daily lives for their online community. Gift unpacks, product placements, calibrated gestures: everything is ready for the camera. Until the day when an ungrateful and apathetic creature bursts into this too smooth daily and actually flicks the perfect image, gradually digging the void.
Grotesque figures with bodies transformed by prostheses and speaking a modern grommelot populate this spectacle of a rare inventiveness. Influenced by an amazing aesthetic universe, a slow spirit and a very physical game of actors, Influent Mum delivers a jubilatory satire of a society in permanent representation.
