More than anyone else, Angelin Preljocaj — choreographer of feelings. From the very beginning he glorified movement, creating a special language of gestures. He knows his classics as well as he invents his present, in movement. Above all, the artist he is feeds on literature, music and painting. Proof — this seasonal program, inspired by some masterpieces of the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Since 1988 Angelin Preljocaj has responded to the institution's commission, turning the painting Les Raboteurs de parquet Кайеботте into a “dance”, filmed then by Cyril Collard. Years later the same artist Hommes au bain becomes a duet under the signature Preljocaj. It is a way to explore the intimate in a special moment. The female version of this duet, Femmes au bain, follows it, evoking Degas' paintings. This program under the sign of Орсе and Impressionism is now complemented by a third part. Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe can become a source of inspiration for the choreographer. An invitation to dreaminess addressed to every viewer. And the museum of becoming, a space for one evening, the most beautiful dance stage.
