After the success of the centenary concert of the Clichy Harmony Orchestra, which brought together nearly 900 spectators at Clichy Hall, the Théâtre Rutebeuf is once again taking over the venue for a major event under the banner of jazz, swing and Cuban music.
For the occasion, two emblematic ensembles of the Clichy music scene join their talents. BBCC opens the evening with the contagious energy of great jazz orchestras, featuring bright brass, driving rhythms and improvisations inspired by the genre's standards.
Then Orquesta MI SOL leads the audience toward the warm rhythms of Cuba. Accompanied by a couple of dancers, musicians and spectators are invited to share a true “Ron Danzón”, the Cuban version of dancing tea, where the music is experienced as much as it is listened to.
Designed as a grand festive and popular moment, Havana Jazz Club celebrates the richness of amateur practices and the dynamism of Clichy musical associations. An invitation to listen, dance and share together an afternoon in the colors of Havana.
