What view do we have of our environment? What remains of natural spaces? What feelings does the encounter with natural phenomena give us?
The Grandeur nature exhibition proposes to formulate a striking visual answer to these questions by highlighting the canvases and prints of three artists who interpret natural landscapes in radically different ways, thus establishing a rich and powerful dialogue between their works.
Jeanne de Guillebon translates with great sensitivity the movement of landscapes in her canvases and prints.
Martin Lassailly, trained as an architect, subtly highlights in his paintings the opposition between the straight-lined order of human constructions and the colorful, lively turmoil of their immediate environment.
Cédric Selmi reformulates natural landscapes into geometric planes in order to bring out the essential perspectives, colors and sensations.
Three painters, three singular viewpoints that invite the visitor to reconsider the place they give to their relationship with the environment and push them to step out of their daily routine to feel and experience this bond.
