For several years, the MeToo movement has profoundly transformed the public debate and allowed the emergence of long-seen stories. The MeTooMedia Awards are part of this dynamic by honouring those whose journalistic, documentary, literary or artistic work contributes to a better understanding of gender-based and sexual violence, still too prevalent in 2026.
This second edition continues the ambition of the first: to reward in-depth investigations, poignant narratives and works that break silence. The Awards salute the commitment, rigour and courage of those who inform, raise awareness and participate in changing media views, stories and practices towards a more responsible culture.
Beyond the awards ceremony, the evening will be punctuated with speeches, exchanges and artistic interventions around a central issue: trust. How can everyone be heard? How can trust be rebuilt when it has been weakened? What role can the media, culture and journalism play in bringing about more accurate narratives and accompanying this transformation?
