David Gastine discovers in the late 90s the music of Django Reinhardt, which will become a decisive step in his focus on accompanying guitar. In 2008 David joins the Selmer #607 project, which will allow him to make a name for himself before the tenors of the young generation of jazz‑manouche as an accompanist and singer. Then he participates in Tony Gatlif’s “Djangodrom” project, marking the centenary of Django Reinhardt’s birth. His meeting with guitarist Стефаном Врембелем will lead him to the most prestigious New York stages (Carnegie Hall in 2017 and Town Hall in 2019 as part of the Django à Gogo festival) together with leading representatives of the manouche style such as Stochelo Rosenberg.
Gaël Rouaihac — a French musician born in 1982. An eclectic guitarist with diverse influences, his main genre is jazz and improvisation. As a composer, mainly for his project “Waterworks”, he also occasionally works on commissioned projects (telefilms, radio…). In addition, he is a singer and regularly performs as a bandleader.
Lineup: Gael Rouilhac : guitar ; David Gastine : guitar ; Sébastien Gastine : double bass
