Erroll Garner remains one of the most singular figures in jazz history. Self-taught pianist with an incomparable touch, creator of the standard Misty and master of a swing that is both free and elegant, he developed a musical language that is instantly recognizable, where virtuosity, lyricism, and sense of rhythm are one. With this quartet, François Constantin celebrates the legacy of this exceptional musician alongside Jean-Michel Bernard, William Brunard and Romain Sarron. Together, they revisit Garner's world with respect and personality, rediscovering that communicative energy and freedom that made his legend. This project accompanies the upcoming release of an album dedicated to Erroll Garner, expected between September and December, and offers the opportunity to discover in advance a repertoire where the elegance of Erroll Garner's piano meets the camaraderie and freedom of a top‑level quartet.
