Sonia Chiambretto immersed herself in a closed educational centre, in dialogue with young prisoners, adolescents and minors within the meaning of the law. What the poet saw, lived and heard there nourished her book Peinties Minor and the eponymous performance. We meet the words of these girls aged 13 to 16, in the freedom of their loneliness and intimacy, facing an oppressive and often violent daily life. From fugues – imaginary or real – to rebellious fury and agitated pursuits, the actress and dancer Tara Veyruns rubs herself with these screams and whispers as to her own dreams of action.

Projection Thibaud Croisy Minor District
A minor neighbourhood is an unprecedented immersion in the wing of a prison, where thirty minor prisoners are held. From the long corridors to the narrow maintenance rooms, the film follows the educators of the Youth Judicial Protection, officials of the Ministry of Justice who accompany minors throughout their detention. Through regular exchanges, these professionals try to establish links with young people, seek to understand their path and develop with them a project of exit that can be accepted by their magistrate.
The law forbidding the disclosure of the minors' identity in order to guarantee their optimal reintegration, it is through the eyes of these educators that Thibaud Croisy filmes the life of this neighbourhood apart. He thus reappropriates the constraint that weighs on his images, places him at the heart of his documentary and gives to see, in an impossible counterfield, these teenagers who are carefully kept away from the eyes.
