Flor de Toloache started his great adventure in New York in 2008, under the impulse of Mireya I. Ramos (violon, singing) and Shae Fiol (vihuela, singing), both still leading the project today. The only group of mariachi with women alone, whose composition evolves over the years, it brings together musicians from different backgrounds and cultures. Together, they combine traditional elements of the mariachi with various current sounds (rock, jazz, pop, rsn-b...) to concoct a great mix as detonating as it is greying. Working at the confluence of tradition and modernity, Flor de Toloache demonstrates a remarkable capacity for innovation, amplified by a radiant energy that prevails over its live passage, where the group gives all its measure.
