The Everybody Festival highlights artists who place body representation at the centre of their efforts, and explore the many ways in which they live their identity and differences.
What views do artists have on stereotypes related to gender, skin colour, age and disability in our society? In the current context, how do we approach the question of identities and differences? From the most virtuoso to the most confusing, the physical body - or rather the way we perceive it - reflects the social and political mechanisms that shape our eyes.
Everybody thus becomes a bubbling bath of aesthetics, perspectives and languages from multiple horizons, where weaving singular forms, hybrid and often surprising. Plural aesthetics, amplified spaces - from the showroom to the Halle via Flore's studio - the audience is invited to immerse themselves from one show to another. Discovering identities and stories that reinvent each other, sharing ideas and nurturing debate is the bet of Everybody.
On the programme: shows and performances, workshops and dance classes, contemporary art installations, DJ set...
With the artists: Mehdi Dahkan, Héla Fattoumi & Sondos Belhassen, Éric Minh Cuong Castaing, Clément Papachristou (programming in progress)
