From tits to dragonflies, through dogs, from bats to horses, through deer, animals live in the city with us.
Thinking about the city together with animals, designing the conditions of their presence — is simultaneously taking the issue of disappearing biological diversity seriously and considering coexistence issues that are ongoing.
How to share the city with these other living beings — animals whose bodies and behavior differ so much from ours? How to accept species that are in decline, but whose presence is necessary for a living and livable city?
Léa Mosconi, автор Architecture vivante, architecture des vivants e (éditions 205) this year leads a design studio with students ENSA Paris Belleville on the theme "Parlement des animaux", dedicated to accounting for animal space in the city. This meeting‑conference will also be an opportunity to present several student models.
