In flamenco language, the rhythm produced by the taps on the floor of the performers' heels is called zapateado. This characteristic impulse has accompanied Rocío Molina since the age of seven. Every day, like a musician making her ranges on her instrument, she tirelessly leads her feet to the fundamentals of her art. What, in others, would only be simple warming has also become the subject of choreographic research. Putting the body in motion is already starting to create. It is also, beyond the pain caused by repeated gestures, to feel alive and to fit into an ever-renewed present "to see who we are". Encender el cuerpo thus returns to the very essence of its creation, a source that had already fed Calentamiento, the previous opus of the choreographer. In this solo until the vertigo, he invites an ad hoc dialogue with his accomplice and "partner of rhythm" for fifteen years, the dancer José Manuel Ramos Oruco, without however breaking the sacred fire that ignites the body of the dancer. Hence the title of this burning room of intensity.
