Theater, dance evening and a two‑day festival of traditional flavors give a reason to go out to the village
Ποταμίτισσα puts on her summer clothes and invites residents, expatriates and visitors to meet again through a program of events that stretches from August to the end of September.
The beginning takes place on Sunday 9 Αυγούστου with the national memorial of the hero of Ποταμίτισσα Georgios Charalambous Christofi, at the Ιερός Ναός Παναγίας Ποταμίτισσας.
On Friday 14 Αυγούστου, at 20:00, the square of the church will host a theatrical performance, while on Saturday 22 Αυγούστου follows the Annual Dance Evening of the Association of Expatriates and Friends of Ποταμίτισσα, also at 20:00.
The summer program concludes on 26 and 27 Σεπτεμβρίου with the Festival of Traditional Sausages & Palouze, in the square of the church. A two‑day event with a strong local character, dedicated to the flavors and traditions of the community.
