Seen by millions of spectators during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the first Waacking choreographer to enter the Opéra de Paris (Roméo et Juliette, Thomas Jolly, 2023), Josépha Madoki alias Princess Madoki is today the flagship figure of Waacking in France and Europe.
With D.I.S.C.O., she summons the energy of disco and clubbing nights to make it a space of resistance and collective repair, born in the wake of lockdown. On stage, movement becomes a declaration: that of a burning need for contact, celebration and bodies that respond to each other.
