As a rising star of contemporary dance, choreographer Sharon Eyal is shaping shows with enchanting beauty, nestled in classicism and romanticism and yet eminently modern. With this new creation dedicated to her deceased mother, she orchestrates a ballet of eight dancers, between undulating curves and saccaded convulsions. Alternating solos, duos, trios and band scores, on an electro hypnotic music, she plays sadness and defies mourning by her artistic sublimation. Such as moving appearances, in justaucorp flesh, stewed on half-points, arched back, stuffed faces, sculptural bodies of interpreters trace in space seismic and cathartic emotional variations.
