With more than 200,000 trees planted in the streets, green spaces and municipal facilities, not to mention the over 300,000 trees in the Bois de Boulogne and Vincennes, Paris is one of the most wooded capitals in Europe. An additional 170,000 will be planted by 2026, as the tree is such an ally in the fight against climate change.
Among them, some stand out for their imposing size, great age, picturesque shape or the rarity of their species; there are nearly 200 trees classified as remarkable in the Parisian territory.
