A musical quagmire spreads over the Left Bank, led by the harmonic orchestra of La Sirène de Paris. Founded in 1874, this amateur orchestra, among the oldest in the capital, brings together more than seventy musicians in repertoires at the intersection of classical music and current repertoires. With the creation "We are the wind", he proposes an original association with the jazz quartet Hormê - trombone, guitar, double bass, drums - to make the imaginations vibrate. The repertoire, built around the compositions of Rozann Bézier, draws moving landscapes, crossed by breaths and brilliance.
These inflamed works plunge into the heart of the climatic elements, from fogs to storms, with unprecedented emotional intensity.
Under the direction of William Le Sage, the harmony orchestra of La Sirène de Paris reveals here all its sensitivity and taste for collective dynamics. Faithful to her missions, she is more than ever defending a living musical practice, where popular music and contemporary creation dialogue take place.
