Eighty years after the conclusion of the Nuremberg trial, the concept of a crime against humanity was introduced into international law and justice, with the means to prosecute and condemn Nazi criminals.
On the occasion of this commemoration, Les Amis de la Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Déportation offers you a concert to pay tribute to all the victims of Nazi barbarism and call for the preservation of freedoms. This gala, placed under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, will be given, in the presence of the last witnesses, to the benefit of the actions of the association, which celebrates its 30th anniversary, to ensure the sustainability, enrichment and transmission of the memory of the Deportation and the Internment.
On the program the great pages of classical music and films - J.-S. Bach, F. Chopin, G. Delerue, E. Demarsan, F. de Roubaix, F. Kreisler, J. Massenet, M. Moussorgski, W.-A. Mozart, M. Rozsa and J. Williams - with the exceptional participation of our godmother Mademoiselle Caroline Silhol and with the help of violinist Isabelle Durin, pianist Michaël Ertzscheid and mezzo-soprano Julie-Anne Moutongo-Black of the Philippe Jaroussky Musical Academy.
