What if the party was an act of resistance? A dance and musical conference, Breque invites us to enter the rhythms and movements of the samba as part of a living language, socially and historically located. Here, the conference takes the lead in understanding, first through experience and dialogue. Lisa Biscaro Balle, choreographer-interpreter, and Rayra Marciel, percussionist, cross their personal experiences and research in order to plunge us into the joyful, plural and deeply political heart of this dance.
