A pioneer of American animation in the 20th century, Walt Disney had brought together all the greatest composers of his time. He thus constituted a genre and a musical repertoire in its own right, whose success has never been denied. Passed to posterity almost as soon as they were listened to, the original bands of The Walt Disney Company will soon be one hundred years old, but the children know them as well as their parents, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to Snow Queen, passing through The Book of the jungle or Mary Poppins.
A trio of singers specializing in vocal jazz, accompanied by a musical ensemble, decided to revisit this vast and rich repertoire by pushing and shaking the standards. In their shaker, swing, many peps and an unparalleled ingredient: close harmony – or tight harmony. In other words, three voices whose tesses and intervals are very close, for ever more fusion and emotion. More than just a vocal performance, Bibbidi Boo (the title is inspired by Cinderella) is a real show, where dresses change to the rhythm of music and where singers dance. Because, with the motto of the Swing Birds: "Why walk when you can swing?", energy will always prevail over nostalgia!
