Swing jazz sextet based in Paris, the Jacks'&'Jills Swing Band performs great American swing standards from the 1920s to the 1930s. It offers a varied repertoire of the great composers of the Roaring Twenties such as Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, and Billie Holiday. One single leitmotif for its musicians: to convey their passion for this music and to plunge back into the atmosphere of the great swing balls of the era!
The Jacks'&'Jills Swing Band performs regularly in France and abroad for Lindy Hop and Charleston dancers, on the occasion of festivals and swing balls. In 2018 and 2019, the group gave concerts at the Caveau de la Huchette, at the Bellevilloise, at the Nuit Swing, and at the Ballydehob Jazz Festival in Ireland. Since September 2022, the group has been performing, notably every month at the Chantier, in Montreuil.
