HEAT, RYTHM AND TRANSE: THE ITALIA OF THE SOUTH BACK IN EXTRA BAL!
You have the rhythm in your skin but you're sick of the eternal not two on techno? We have exactly what you need to spice up your fall Sundays. Communale St-Ouen embarks you for a direct trip in the heel of the Italian boot with its Tarantelle Atelier.
What's the tarantella? Forget the dusty clichés. This is a family of traditional ultra-festive, rhythmic and circular dances. The principle is simple: a tambourine that dictates the cadence, a large circle to support one another, and in the middle, we let go. Whether you're a Sunday dancer or a dancefloor pro, everyone finds their place in the round. It's physical, it's happy, it's liberating.
To guide you in this collective trance, we invited the absolute size: Giulia Pesole. Dancer, teacher of the movement and co-founder of the artistic collective RomaTrad, Giulia sails between Paris and Rome to transmit this culture with passion. With her, no chichis: we explore the history of these dances from a contemporary, artistic and above all hyper accessible angle.
Anyway, we don't talk anymore, we don't dance anymore. The places are very limited (size from 30 to 40 people maximum to keep this cozy and intimate atmosphere we love so much), so don't drag around to get your ticket!
Book for Sunday, November 29
