A sensitive map is an alternative to classical mapping. It is about representing emotions, feelings, using the classic principle of the map. Don't worry, regardless of their artistic level, everyone can make a sensitive map, especially because the features used can be very simple or very schematic. So, on September 19th with the comic book author, Wandrille, we're federing all the talents and all the good will to make our sensitive map of the neighborhood and make Hélène Berr the most stylish media library of the summer.
About the artist
Wandrille Leroy, better known as Wandrille, is an editor, author and comic book teacher.
After leaving the École des arts décoratifs de Paris, he founded the Warum editions in 2004 with Benoît Preteseille. In 2007, he self-edited The Psychoanalysis of Superheroes and will continue this concept within the Vraoum editions, which he created the following year. At the end of 2010, he became screenwriter of the Bédénovela online Les Autres Gens, created by Thomas Cadène, and regularly participated until his arrest in mid 2012. He will then take care of the graphic design of his paper edition at Dupuis. In 2014, he published the comic strip Premières Vendanges at Delcourt with Anne-Lise Nalin in drawing.
In January 2016, he received in the name of Warum an award in the Heritage category at the Angoulême Festival for the title Vater und sohn: Father and Son, the integral of E.O. Plauen. In 2021, he became collector at Delcourt. He joined Villa Mais d'Ici, an artistic wasteland in Aubervilliers.
In 2022, he drew and edited a map of his neighbourhood, which he successfully marketed, and in 2025 decided to create the editions Here are the dragons, dedicated only to the edition of artistic maps and plans. In the same year, he developed the Aux Confins editions within the Steinkis group, a label dedicated to foreign fiction.
Since 2018, he has been a professor of comics, notably at the Delcourt Academy, from which he draws the series Mes Génies prepublished on Instagram before releasing in 2020 at La Cafetière (2 volumes published). This hyperactive artist has also created or co-organized various blogs, festivals, podcasts and games
