On the occasion of the release of December 17 — Chronicle of an Autumn in Algeria, an evening around travel, memory and reunions.
Thought of as a travel journal mixing photographs and poetry, the collection tells an intimate Algeria, traversed by landscapes, encounters, memories and silences.
The day will open with an installation around the book, followed by a writing workshop to explore in turn the links between territory, memory and narrative.
We will continue with a discussion on the theme “Algeria as muse: between departure and reunion,” to question how Algeria inhabits artists’ creations.
Finally, the evening will continue with music with a DJ set by Malaise Vagal and SarraKKa.
An invitation to travel differently, between images, words, memories and sounds.
